  • yesterday was the laziest of lazy days which was what probably caused a really poor night’s sleep. On the plus side, we took a chance on the weather and got laundry close to dry outside which is just as well as today’s forecasted dry day is anything but. DH identified two items that are currently in the charity shop bag which is a major breakthrough. This normally requires fairly consistent nagging.
today is not an Irish bank holiday so my plan is to get some progress on southern clients while NI ones are quiet. I also need to pay myself July and august expenses and make a client call.

    Today I am grateful for

Easy access to protein sources though I did forget to check my bs first thing

An already prepared lunch from leftovers

    Contact from dd

  • Allo @in_need_of_direction, finally found and caught up with your diary, sorry for my tardiness and thanks for all your contributions on mine!

Hope things are going well with you. Eating for health sounds a much nicer idea than unrealistic diet plans. You are doing amazingly with all your decluttering and getting your home as you want it

  • well healthy eating and other good habits have gone downwards in a hand cart. today, while dh is working on some of my work, i have committed to clearing three tasks with another three to go tomorrow plus a list / calendar of when stuff will get done. it's probably no surprise to anyone that the easiest of today's 3 tasks is the only to be despatched.

i'll report back tomorrow with an update. today i am grateful for

DH's work guilting me into productivity

the window cleaner turning up to remove the bird poop from an inaccessible part of my bedroom window

the makings of a bacon sarnie being here for lunch
