Roof pricing
Hi - can anyone give some personal advice/experience regarding replacing a detached house roof please?
Got 1 quote for around £12k which includes new tiles/membrane and scafolding and told it might take 2/3 weeks to do.
Will get more quotes but does this sound possibly reasonable?
Thanks

How big is your house? What shape is the roof? Is it a straight apex? What sort of tiles? Maybe a photo would help.

probably quite similar to this. 2 chimneys. Half of house is 2 story. Tiles are like these ones
Thanks

That's an ok price for the work as building materials aren't cheap.
Is that photo of the house the same area of roof that needs replacing?
Just reread the post again does the price include facia, soffit and guttering in that price?

Thanks - no its not the same area. No guttering etc included
