Property hunters
Is this legit? If you send photos of empty homes you can get money. £20 per photo doesn't seem a lot - as I would guess you would have to walk or cycle past a lot of homes to do that.

Makes sense as a scheme, gives the developers a lead into properties that they can check for ownership.
Couldn't find a definition of "meets our criteria"
Our team will verify if the property meets our criteria and if it does, you’ll receive an instant £20 voucher as our immediate thank-you.Reminds me of a scheme from the very early days of the web, one of the few ways that you could actually earn some cash online.
You filled out a questionnaire about your neighbours, so things like address, nos of adults/kids/cars/pets, few other things.
You were supplying data for direct marketing mailers (postal, this was before email was much of a thing). Almost certainly be illegal now under data protection and privacy legislation.

Pedant alert - it's could have not could of.2 -
They could have made that "England Only" restriction a little more prominent.
Given that list of qualifiers, the chances of me finding an eligible property within a mile of my home are not high.
My area's posh - we don't have empty, just unused accumulating assets.

My parents have a house in their street that meets all of the criteria bar possibly it's already been reported to them.
I've reported the house twice to the council and no action has been taken. The house has been empty for over 14 years, the owners come round perhaps once a year to cut the garden back. They had kids break in and "squat" for 24 hours, the police were involved and told them they needed to tidy the house up which they did, but that was over 2 years ago now.
The owners bought another house about 15 years ago and just left it empty, the council tax would be around £450 a month if it's known to be empty.

Our area is central London so highly mixed… look at socio-economic maps of my home town and each big area is a single grade, look at our current street and its literally each building with a rating with top 1%ers next door to bottom 1%ers.
Thats strange though, the posh areas around us probably have the highest percentage of unused properties with people having it as their 8th home. In fact there is a whole tower block a 15 minutes walk from us that I am yet to see a single person go in/out that wasnt a tradesman despite the fact it was completed more than 2 years ago but then they are charging over £1m for a 2 bed when the average sales price for a similar unit in near by 5-10 year old developments are circa £450k but still look cheap compared to the £2.5m three beds on the upper floors (plus £15k service charge)

There are swathes of Docklands and the new developments around Battersea/Vauxhall (and famously the almost deserted and grotesquely expensive 1 Hyde Park) that were marketed heavily in those bits of the world that have rich people keen to move their assets away to somewhere 'friendlier'. They are not bought for living in, they are simply a store of wealth.

I reported a property to them. They claimed first a delay in finding the owners and then that it wasn't empty. It is empty as I've seen the local authority break in and then the window is boarded up. It's not for sale, so I guess this company aren't getting any money, so aren't paying out.
