First default
How do,
Had my first default on credit rating.
Loan from ratesetter for just under 3k.
At present I have arceurope hounding me for this one. With them being a collector, not purchaser do I ignore them until it's sold or just start paying them via SO?
With it not being sold, a prove it letter seems a bit pointless? I intendeed to pay anyway as part of my self managed dmp.
I suppose if I pay them, teh money will come off the amount when it eventually gets sold on?

All a prove-it letter does at this juncture is delay matters until its actioned.
In fact most companies acting as collectors won`t even entertain any "disputes" and will simply return the account to the client.
Its really up to you when you want to start paying these people.

Thanks. Now that it's defaulted on credit report, happy to pay them what I've got in my self managed DMP.
Made first standing order and posted them a dmp letter telling them how much they'll be getting.
If they don't like it tough.
