Morning again, it's a grey chilly start today., rain is forecast I believe.
I'm planning to go to a nearby shopping centre this morning, I need some new black shoes or sandals so I'll have a look round there, There are big branches of the usual high street shops there, so hope I find something.
Remmie, I've never seen a black sink, but wouldn't fancy one, and from what others are saying they seem to be a bit of a pain. I would stick to good old stainless steel, at least it's easy to clean. I'm all for things being easy!
Nothing much going on here, once I get back from shopping I'll do a few jobs round the house.
Coxy, are you all right? haven't seen you for a while.
Hope everyone is ok and has a good day, take care folks.

Morning all
Awake early as usual. Looking at the forecast it's going to be very wet here all day so no going out into the garden today.
Not much planned apart from making some chocolate chip muffins and changing the bed.
Re black sinks. I could never have one as I live in a very hard water area and it would turn white in no time!!
Hope everyone has a good day.

Hi all,
Thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons still here! My Dad is here - arrived on Thursday night, after weeks of ‘will he won’t he’ come stress. Anyway he’s here for a month so we are going to be busy with him for a while.
Having inherited a black sink here I can honestly say to avoid!!
Sending congratulations to @mehefin and family for today’s wedding. Hope all goes well and lovely to see the finished quilt - Gwen is very talented x
It’s our WA tomorrow and we’re out for afternoon tea, then we’re off to Majorca on Tuesday for a week (planned before Dad booked his flights).
Hope everyone’s okay and that @Gers is enjoying Canada.
Have a good day everyoneCoxy

Good morning
It's raining, so not much planned. Thanks for all the info re black sinks. I wanted stainless anyway, it was DH who thought black looked more "modern". He doesn't have to clean it.
Steak pie from the freezer for him tonight, curry for me, nice and easy.
@mehefin Enjoy today, love and happiness always to the happy couple.
Have a good day all, take care.

Morning Everyone
Thanks for the start Scarlet, hope you find some suitable shoes.
Good to see you again Coxy, hope you enjoy the time with your Dad and have a good holiday.
It's overcast this morning with rain due later, at least I don't need to water the garden or allotments! Yesterday afternoon was quite nice, put the washing out to finish drying - didn't take long. Tried again with the window opener but still can't do it, work was too busy to be making phone calls to the supplier so will wait until Monday now.
I have the little one coming for a sleepover later, her spots are a lot better and she had a shower and hair wash yesterday so is feeling back to her normal self, just a bit scabby! Her Mum and Dad are going out for something to eat, she said she doesn't care where they go or what they eat 'because I'm going to stay with Gran and I'm having risotto'. Guess that's what we're having for dinner then!
A few bits to do today before I collect my visitor, I did the food shopping last night so that's one job off the list.
Enjoy the celebrations Mehefin.
Have a good weekend, take care. XX

Pouring with rain here and meant to be all day, good job there is not much washing, OH is having a rare lay in he is normally up early at the weekend for the boot sale but rain stopped play today.
DD is off out with some friends and staying over so just OH and I here, dinner tonight will be a burger 🍔 and chips nice and easy and OH will cook.
I’m going to paint the cupboard in the utility today I finally got the right paint having got the wrong one which I will take back next week, I’m hoping the colour looks ok, it looked good on AI but we will have to see.
Mehefin I hope today goes well xx
Have good days all and take care xx

Thanks for the start @ScarletRibbons Raining here too but my laptop says it'll stop later, we'll see. L dog won't want to go out if it's raining😉or there's a chance of him getting his paws wet.Quite happy to paddle in the stream though yesterday.
I hope it does stop later as its DGs football presentation, and last year they did it in the pub garden where there is lots of room. It's classed as a private function until 7 o' clock, but by then the boys have usually crossed the road to have a kick about on a pitch. So no tea needed for us as the mums are providing a buffet. DH has to go & collect 3 pork pies that have the team's name on in the pastry as our contribution 😆I managed to get a vest top at the retail park yesterday to go underneath my top, feel happier that I won't inadvertently flash my bra😶
Hope you all have a wonderful day @mehefin
Hope the paint job turns out well @RedRuby1231 . Enjoy the risotto @camelot1001
Have a good day all.

Morning all, thanks @Scarlet - good luck with the search for shoes/sandals.
@Izzy - Like you, much as I still love stilettos, they're a no-no these days 😕 and it's Mary Janes or trainers for me. Comfort and function surpass style!
It looks like we're in for another cool and wet day, not too promising for next week either. I have a little bit of washing to do today but it will have to dry on the airer. Once that's out of the way, there's nothing else definite planned for the weekend so I'll just go with the flow and see what I fancy doing - or not, as the case may be. 😁
I'm pleased DS is back at work (and enjoying it) but his finish times aren't set in stone and can be quite late in the day, so I'm having to make a main meal that I can have at my normal time with a second portion plated up and eaten either cold or microwaved for him when he gets home. Not this weekend though as he's on days off until Tuesday. Tonight we're having scampi, chips and side salad.
@Coxy - Have a lovely weekend and holiday next week.
@camelot - Glad to hear LO is feeling much better now and knows what she'd like for dinner - saves you the trouble of deciding. 😅
@mehefin - Hope the wedding goes smoothly.
Have a good weekend all whatever you have planned, take care. xx
