Council Tax Challenge

Nationwide valuation data quote my flat as Band D, yet my flat in 2003 was given a Band E. Then and now there are no comparisons. How can I make a challenge.

Nationwide and other HPIs are inaccurate, so the Band may be correct and NW guesstimates won't be accepted as evidence by the VOA. If you have "no comparisons", then you can't really claim your band is incorrect. So you fall at the first hurdle.

If you could supply more details about your flat, the area in which it is situated (rural, urban etc), any sale prices, other flats and their bands nearby, may be able to find something to help

If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales
