Using my SIPP for an annuity
Comments
-
how do you get the best annuity rate ?
should you use an IFA to get best deal ?

If you can find an IFA who is happy to do it (and doesn't want to do a deep dive into all your other finances while they're at it) then Yes.
There are also annuity brokers eg Retirement Line or Hargreaves Lansdown (others are available but those two get mentioned on here).
You should learn about commission vs fees - the brokers get paid commission and the IFA get a fee (but you hope the IFA gets a commission free annuity rate).

Probably worthwhile doing search for annuities on here, as there are regular threads about them .
