My overdraft showing as up to date on credit file and not defaulting!
Hello, I have all but 2 debts to default, one being a Halifax overdraft, it shows as up to date on my credit file despite being overdrawn and no payments having been made for months. What do I do?
Obviously I want them all defaulted for that 6 Years to start, any advice welcome

Overdrafts can be difficult, as there are no regular payments to make towards the debt, if left, they can go delinquent for months/years even, and the bank will just keep on charging you.
Your best bet is to write to the bank, explain your intentions, that you want the debt to default, so the balance is frozen, so that you can then repay what remains by debt management, or whatever your strategy is.
Whilst you have the opportunity, it might be a good idea to let them know you have been in financial difficulty for quite a while, and would they consider refunding any interest charged to the debt, within say the last six months or whatever timeframe you deem appropriate.
That would be your best approach.

Write to your banks customer service address, look on their website.
