LGPS Final salary
Hi,
I have been receiving an honorarium (non contractual)since September 25 and will continue to do so till my lds on 30th June 26.
I have pre 2008 service, should this be included in my Final Pay calculation? As it would make a difference to my pension and automatic lump sum?
Thanks

It depends - strictly speaking, non-contractual payments aren't counted towards your pre 2014 final pay figure. But it depends on the exact terms of your honorarium. This is something you will need to take up with your employer, I'm afraid, as there is no yes/no answer.

Be careful if your HR just says 'yes, it's pensionable'. Because it is pensionable in respect of your post 2014/CARE accruals. You will have to specifically ask if it is pensionable under final salary rules.
