    I do get that it is !!!!!! at the minute, I was in low paid jobs before going back to college, started work and bought a flat when interest rates were soooo much higher than now. I worked two jobs for almost 7 years and that is a real drag. I think a SOA will show where you can shave off spends and save towards paying off debt. It won't be fun but if you really fixate onto clearing debt you can get clear in a relatively short space of time. Are you Local Government or Civil Service? Both have employee assistance which may be worth contacting. Personally I wouldn't go for DMP or such in case it has an impact on work clearances. Don't spend keeping up with friends or workmates, they could be in a lot more debt than you are and just not admitting to it.
