Definitely not a summons, it says CLAIM FORM at the very top of the claim form

Is it Smart Parking. via DCB Legal. ? If it is then

Just copy and paste the Smart Parking template defence post on the 12th April by mse member meltof into the defence box on MCOL, save it and submit it, no changes, no additions, nothing else to do at this early stage once completed

This isn't a summons and there is no allegation on the POC of a VRM error, so do NOT respond to an allegation not pleaded.

Just use the @Meltof defence in the Smart Parking Claim Defence Group thread (search and ye shall find).

The only change I would make to Meltof's defence Is to remove the line fairly near the start, that says the D "cannot recall anything on an unremarkable day x years ago" and replace it with:

The Defendant disputed the PC at the time because payment was made, and denies the allegation of 'insufficient paid time'.

PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Yes correct claim form. Searched and found Meltof's defence 11 para. template and modified paragraph 3.

Do I submit any evidence, such as cc statement showing payment and when is the best timing for submitting defence (obviously before the deadline)? AOS completed today.

No, evidence etc is submitted to your local civil court in several months time along with your WS

There is no real advantage in delaying submission on MCOL

Is it from Smart Parking via DCB Legal. ?

Glad you found that defence. Easy, innit?!

    You now need to read:

    • the NEWBIES thread post 2 and especially the detail under the red heading: 'IMPORTANT: KNOW WHAT HAPPENS WHEN'
    • the 8 steps in the Template Defence thread which you'll be following now.

Yes, Letter Before Claim came from BW Legal. But Claim Form is from Smart Parking via DCB Legal. I'll get the defence submitted, thanks for your help.

@OP have you deleted some posts? I cannot see a claim form nor where you have mentioned a summons!
