Pampers nappies in morrisons. big box

popped into morrisons yesterday and picked up a few bits, along with a big box of pampers nappies (you know the ones.. about £11 usually). Well, not entirely sure if this is a 'glitch' or whether the cashier simply cocked up. But they came through as free.
We only got around £8 worth of stuff and thats all we got charged for. I know the nappies scanned as I watched her scan and heard the "beep". I got size 4+.
The only thing is that the nappies don't show on the receipt at all.... but I KNOW (!) she scanned them. Like i said, may have been a balls-up by the cashier, but maybe not.
I'm going back in later today to see if my luck is still in.... perhaps she scanned the wrong barcode (?)... but worth a shot. Will try and find the same cashier i think.

Will get over to Morrisons this afternoon and see what happens in the Blyth one
If they are cheap or even a glitch then I will buy a couple more boxes. Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
Ours scanned at the correct price yesterday.0

OH bought some this morning & charged full price, the cashier must have scanned the wrong bar code on the box & not realised.0

its a bit iffy this one, if she scanned it and you are adamant she did and it showed up on the reciept with PAMPERS (charged at 0.00) then id say that was free.
the store probably forgot to update there EPOS with the particular barcode for the nappies and so when it was passed accross the scanner it didnt recognise the nappies/value of them.
Think of it this way if you were stopped on your way out of the store and they did a quick chek against the things you had bought shown on reciept and what was in your trolley - what would store secuirty think? Its plain theft!
in all fairness i love misprices and getting extra freebies etc when its the stores fault but i cant see any other explanation for this but theft!0 -
Doubt it is a EPOS error as the Mega Packs have been available for a long time, although the boxes do have 2 barcodes & a Internal Barcode on them which is probably the one that has been sacanned0

i call this luck not theft! lol0

the most common reasons for this happening are if tis got multiple barcodes on, some items need a price manually entering or if they get scanned straight after a box of analgesics or alcohol, youve got to press enter to ok the restricted sale, if this isnt done you still get the beep but it doesnt actually add the item to your bill.0
