Good morning
Thank you for the start @Gers
Looks like another sunny day so I'm going to try and do more in the garden. Seems a never ending task.
Need to tidy the freezer, I find I use things from the top and I don't use the older things first.
Hope everyone has a good day
Take care

Morning, thanks Gers.
It's raining here, tomorrow is supposed to be a better day.
Not much going on here, just odd.jobs. I've got pain in my back and hip which makes me say ooh! arghh! a lot, but sitting makes it worse so I try and plod on.
You'll be looking forward to going to the caravan TA, hope you get some decent weather.
Nice to see you SO.
Hope your Mam and Dad are settled Dp1,
Take care folks.

The sun is out, trying hard to overcome the chilly morning.
My drive down to Glasgow was so lovely, mirror smooth lochs and blue skies. It's such a great change from the misery of the long winter. Teeth have been jet-washed, got a couple of free wee tubes of toothpaste and saw the dentist too. After a long discussion I've decided on two bits of treatment, one purely for cosmetic reasons and one to correct a much earlier problem. One front tooth has a composite filling which is beginning to stain (not from eating or drinking) and I'm very aware of it so having that replaced. Then one of the back teeth which is heavily filled is causing issues for me around flossing so I'm having it crowned. - no need for root canal treatment, just the crown. All to happen in July. I'm happy with my decisions.
I visited the proper Italian cafe, bought one of their delicious ciabatta chicken sandwiches, a portion of yesterday's lasagne and a cake. 😀 A quick trip to Waitrose and the the long slow drive home. By the time I was heading north the road was full of tourists and heavy logging lorries as well as goods waggons. One annoying person was driving at 30 miles an hour round Loch Lomond causing huge backlogs and much frustration. At the uphill short stretch of double lanes even a massive lorry overtook it. Anyway, home by 2.30p,m, teeth gleaming and tummy full.
This morning I've got an appointment at the pharmacy. When there I am collecting meds for an elderly acquaintance who posted on the village FB board. She's about 10 miles away so, as I plan to go to Oban anyway, I'll take it to her.
I hope that everyone can enjoy Saturday. Gardening, washing, going out - whatever happens I hope that it all goes well. Take care all. Hugs to poorlies.

Morning Everyone
Thanks for the start Gers, glad your appointment went well, shame about the slow driver.
There's not much weather here, it could go either way at the moment but I have washing in and hoping for the best.
Colleague and I went for more bark chippings yesterday so the outdoor area looks a lot better, need to hoover out the car now. DD was going for some bark yesterday too so she's borrowed all the bags and will top up the area under the little one's trampoline.
Shopping, allotment and some gardening planned for today although I could do with a nap already as I woke up at 4.20 and couldn't get back to sleep.
Hope your back/hip eases today Scarlet.
Sounds like you've made the right decision Ruby, I think they just wanted you to cover their holiday?
Hoping your bathroom is finished soon Coxy.
Have a good caravan stay TA.
Wishing you all a good weekend, take care. XX

Morning folks and thanks GERS. It looked damp when I got up but now looks to be brightening up. We never got the thunderstorms yesterday, just a bit of mizzly drizzly stuff at one point.
It's that time again - I m skulking in the bathroom with a much needed colour on my hair. Sadly I shall miss out on the hairdresser calling when she sorts us all out next week but she has promised to try and fit me in at some point when I get back. I am starting to look a bit bedraggled.
It's not a very clever forecast for the week ahead but I am still planning a week at the caravan. I still need to pack an assortment of clothes for all weathers and then sort some food out. A pile of books has already been packed. Still no wifi on the site so I will be reliant on my phone. I'll read along but posting with sausage fingers will be brief.
RUBY I'm sorry the job didn't turn out to be all that it promised but I hope something else comes along soon. Have a good day folks, take care and be safe x

A bit misty out there but expecting sun and temps of 18 today so that's good. Bought an obelisk that DH will put together for a clematis that I'm going to move. Hope it takes in it's new home!
Rock cakes to bake later and bed to change.
Nothing else going on so might sit out in the garden later with my book.
Hope the weather is kind to you @TravellingAbuela while you're at the caravan
Have a good day all x

Good morning
A bright sunny start. Yesterday turned out to be a very warm day, so much so I had to change out of the top I had on into a summer t-shirt. Wow. The forecast for tomorrow isn't so good though.
After vacuuming I mopped through, the sun shows up every small mark. Then settled down in the sunshine to finish my book.
Today DH is going to hang a new to us mirror in the hallway. Gifted to us by Mrs ND. She is decluttering on a big scale. It means I have to start decluttering as well to fit in her gifts. Still, it's all a change.
Minted lamb burgers in brioche buns tonight.
@RedRuby1231 What a cheek of the woman. Hope you find something soon.
Have a good day all, take care.

Bright and sunny here but rain due tomorrow, I have a load of towels in the wm so will hang them out after. OH has just gone to the boot sale and dd still in bed so all peaceful here.
Yesterday I was sitting having a cuppa when I saw a movement on the bird table - it was a rat 😳 so I need to give it a good scrub today and move it, the rat was running along the top of the fence and then jumping onto the bird table so I will try moving it further away to see if that stops it.
Dinner tonight will be burger in a bun with chips we may eat in the garden seeing as it’s so nice maybe we could bbq the burgers.
House is pretty up together so I may do some gardening today, I do need to go and buy some paint so I may do that this morning.
I do think the family wanted me for holiday cover only 🙄 its a bit cheeky to advertise for permanent hours and get people there under false pretences!
TA have a lovely break xx
Have good days all and take care xx

morning everyone it’s pouring down and it’s set for the day it’s dark and chilly but it’s supposed to dry up for tomorrow the only bonus is the cricket is called off we had it Thursday and Friday night . Coxy those muffins sound delicious I’m struggling with my weight so I have to be good I’m going to try and get an appointment with the doctors I was doing well lost just over 2 stone last year they dropped one of my thyroxine tablets in January and I’ve put every morsel I’ve eaten in my fitness pal and upped my steps and I’ve never lost an ounce this year I’ve had another blood test in March which came back alright but Therese something not working very disheartening. Ruby some folk have a neck for anything very cheeky I will keep everything crossed something will come up for you soon. Gers good to get the dental work sorted . Silver oldie I see you have joined the messy freezer club on here don’t worry it’s never ending. I’m not sitting here all day I might pack my holiday clothes we will see . Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing
