Barclays default report says up to date
Hi,
In March I received a default notice regarding my Barclaycard and have heard nothing since. On checking both TransUnion and Experian, it lists the 4 missed payments from November to February and lists a payment made in March. Neither is the default listed on the agencies.
I didn’t make a payment so am I right to assume the debt may have been sold and I should continue to sit tight until I receive a letter asking for payment?
I am also still awaiting a decision on a write off request.
Thanks

Yes hold on at the moment, see if the 'payment' vanishes and see what else you get.

These things tend to move quite slowly, it can take a good number of months for things to get sold and for credit reports to get updated. My Virgin card disappeared completely for about three months before showing up again after it had been sold on.
