Government Gateway check progress, what's after in progress?

I posted a letter to HMRC. The status online in the gateway account has gone from 'received' to 'in progress'. Does anyone know what the next stage of the progress is? Thanks

When we posted a letter the status stayed at 'In Progress' until after several weeks it went straight to 'Completed' and a couple of days later a reply arrived in the post. I assume a similar process will happen for you, but whether it will take more or less time is in the lap of the hmrc gods.
