Nectar "Spin to Win"
Nectar is running a daily Spin to Win competition this week - prizes range from nothing to varying amounts of Nectar points. I'd be interested to see if anyone is awarded a prize, and also what their usage of Nectar is (either accruing points or spending them).
I have about £50 in Nectar points that I have built up over decades but never spent. I very rarely shop in Sainsburys or its partner stores these days. Unsurprisingly, I got nothing today!
So much to read, so little time.

No 'Spin to Win' on my app…… I shop in Sainsbury's most week and have saved (allegedly) £167 with Nectar Prices since 1 January. I tend to use my points in Argos.

Like most 'loyalty' award schemes, I try to spend these as soon as they are awarded (unless there is a very specific advantage to not doing so).
I know it's pretty unlikely that Sainsburys/Argos/Habitat are going bust any time soon (but BHS? Debenhams? Homebase?), but possibly more likely is a fraud or IT failure that wipes your point balance.
Nectar have been notorious for the poor security of their scheme, until recently all that was needed was a barcode to spend points at a till, it's now a little more secure.
Get it spent.
PS - won nothing on the Spin to Win.

Won 25 points. I shop in Sainsbury 2 or 3 times a month.

I'm not a fan of Nectar. I dislike the fact that they won't link cards for coupons so while my OH and I can spend and use our separate cards and it accumulates points in one spot any coupons he gets I can't use with my card. Unlike with Tesco.
Not a fan of having yet another app on my phone either. Half the time I can't get store apps to work when I'm instore (M&S is dreadful for this) or my phone dies half way through a shop so I can't see what coupons might be available.
Given a choice I wouldn't shop at Sainsburys but the one in town gives you a refund on one hour's parking if you spend £5 so that rather forces us through their doors.

Interesting what you said @Brie .My DH and I have a linked Nectar account. We have cards with different numbers but one balance IYSWIM. For some reason, they always send the offers to DH with his name and number. However, I am able to use the coupons in store, using my card, with no problems. 🤔

Nectar (much like Boots) is not fussy if more than one person/device is accessing the same account. No real need for an account each in a shared household.
Got to agree about the M&S Sparks app, useless. I thought I was just unfortunate that all my local stores had poor mobile/wi-fi coverage but now realise it's just rubbish.
