Difficulty after clearing debt
I’ve managed to clear a lot of my debt and get it down to a manageable level but for the last eight months I’ve been working stupid unhealthy amounts of overtime to make it happen.
and I’m finding it difficult to get out of the mindset of I don’t need to keep doing it .

Then do not get out of it, reset your goals. House deposit, mortgage overpayments, a holiday, the watch/car/jacket you have always wanted. If you still have that drive then use it to improve your life.

How low is the "manageable level" and do you have a decent emergency fund saved?
How many hours a week are you working?0 -
I mean I was doing so much. I have a £1000 of disposable I was working 60+ overtime hours a month on top of my normal shift.

It really depends on the job, 60 hours overtime a month is totally manageable in an office job, probably ok for light manual labour depending on age, likely an issue for hard manual work unless you are in your twenties.
£1k a month of fun money is good, enough to give you options, depending on your job you need to strike a balance.

Maybe work smarter, not harder. Tell us a bit more about your debts. Who do you owe, how much, how much do you pay monthly?

I think 60 hours of overtime is quite a lot, even in an office job. I would do a really detailed budget and look at what you need, plus identity your goals and what they will cost. Is it manageable to do some overtime but less, so you still have extra money but aren't exhausted.

i’m doing that in a supermarket so I’m torn between being worn out and looking at the overtime and thinking I could use the money even though I don’t desperately need it anymore.

I was working for Tesco’s doing anything I could get because I was desperate to clear the usually manage about 17,000 steps a day with some shifts involving lots of heavy

basically I had a lot of credit card debt. I’ve paid it off to the point where I can do a balance transferred to give me more time.
which I have a plan in place to get it paid within 12 months without killing myself savings, but I was doing insane hours to get it to the point where I could do the balance transfers .
