Modern Methods of Construction - ICF
How acceptable are MMC especially Insulated Concrete Formwork not only for original self build mortgage but perhaps also more importantly when considering future saleability?
There are many benefits to the new methods of building but if the property cannot be remortgaged efficiently after self build is complete or when coming to move on and sell is the market in effect rejecting the true benefits?
Or are mortgages for MMC truly mainstream and competitive?

I'd take it as just being that it is not yet common enough for many here to have had experience with ICF.
I would expect that even if it isn't an issue in itself for mortgage lenders you will come up against the usual self-build issues when it comes to subsequent sales, so consider things like making sure that the builders you use are properly trained and certified for this construction method and make sure you have some sort of warranty in place if you intend to resell within the first 10 years or so…
