I often get ~£100 back from Quidco for car insurance, so could do this and then choose to use that money on any Sat Nav

In a nutshell. They messed us around over a set of factory standard alloys on our car, in short wanting an extra £80 to cover something that was there when the car left the factory. Yet if you got a quote from scratch for the car (with the alloys) there was no change in price.

Trying to get them to see sense was akin to headbutting a wall. In the end we told them where to stick the insurance after 5 months and got it £100 cheaper elsewhere.

It was a bargain for me as my insurance only cost £153.86 & £100 off SatNav.

Tesco were the cheapest & I even tried to go through Quidco but LloydsTSB, MoreThan, Pru etc were all over £250 & with the Quidco cashback didn't even come close to Tesco.
