Pension Bee - honest experiences sought
I'm thinking of using Pension Bee to consolidate my pensions. I am aware of my main public sector one but I have a number of small private ones that need tracking down, which I could probably do myself - but seeing a recent ad for Pension Bee made me think that it might be easier for someone else to do the legwork.
Most Pension Bee reviews seem to be positive, and I gather there are other providers with other rates. I'd be interested in the experiences of MSE'rs, particularly regarding customer services and the ease of leaving Pension Bee, should the time come. Thoughts?
So much to read, so little time.

Pension Bee has good marketing and tries to give the impression that being able to consolidate your pensions with them is somehow something special. In fact you can consolidate your pension pots with any number of other providers.
Maybe they do help more with finding old pensions, but in the end it is the customer who has to supply the info for them to use.
Charges 0.7% to 0.85% are on the higher side

Aviva have a service that does this. It was all rather odd, though, as they did all the legwork speaking to the other providers. They gave me a great deal of information about the other pensions, but they then just left it and didn't offer to consolidate the pensions.
In the end, I set up a sipp with ii, and moved some of the pensions there. The others have not yet been moved.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1 -
ii is advertising a lot these days. Interesting that you headed that way of your own volition, what was the pull?

I already had an account. The charge for the SIPP is not that huge, and I have invested the whole lot in some Vanguard units that don't have an enormous annual charge. I'm not very good at share picking, so I'm mostly using collectives.

Here's the link for the Aviva service:
Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!1
