True it is alot cheaper than a child. But i still think that they are just too expensive.:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:I gave up jogging for my health when my thighs kept rubbing together and setting fire to my knickers:starmod: :staradmin :starmod:0

They sell them in poundland as well as durex lube. Don't need them anymore as dh has had the snip which is cheaper still if you do not need std protection. The best bargains are priceless!!!!!!!!!! :T :T :T0

anyway, how very boring to have brown paper bags. I've seen clinic packs with bright green and purple paper bags! Thought they'd make quite good children's party bags - without the condoms, before you ask!
Not so good are the white bags with sizing diagrams and instructions on the outside!Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
I used to be a sex education teacher and the condom lessons were some of the most fun lessons we had. Buying them in shops/pubs is a convenience thing and you pay well over the odds for that convenience. Go to the FP clinic!!! And for heaven's sake forget the cling film!!!
My most embarrassing experience was when I had to buy 90 condoms at the chemist (because FP clinics don't provide them for schools) and I became suddenly aware of how it might look to the young lass on the checkout. So what did I say to explain myself?
"These are for work."
So rather than looking like I just really, really enjoy my marriage, I look like I do something altogether different for a living...May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -

My missus is a practice nurse and recently did a course on reproductive health and sexual transmitted diseases.
She now does a clinic where condoms are given out like sweets, mostly to underage kids
She's got boxes and boxes of them, different colours flavours and shapes.
Only the kids that come in with a problem will actually ask for them, no-one else will walk in off the street for them.
I think it's not advertised enough. People need to be more aware of what is available.
I said "bring some home and we'll ebay a job lot...10,000 condoms should get a few quid" :rotfl:
