I've never had cause to use the ignore function before, but having now done so find it incredibly effective.
I've just had a wander through his history and find it amusing that he's boasted in the past of 'winning' numerous review copies on Good Reads.
Maybe I should be claiming all the review copies I've received through NetGalley as wins, but I don't because I don't consider requesting, and being selected to read and then review them, as competitions.

I highly recommend it. Cuts out a lot of noise.

Review copies of books (though I doubt any of them are actually read), comp concert tickets, promo codes. Things we can all get if we want them and request or apply for them, or just know where to look for them.
They're not competitions though where luck and perhaps a little skill are required. He has this need to get to 100 "wins" a month and get his dopamine hit, and of course we all have to hear about it as he shouts about it repeatedly. I blame social media for causing this need for instant gratification and dumbing down people to this level.

May I suggest, having looked at the back history, that this post is left quietly dropped down the forum with no further comment?
Seems the easiest way all round.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

18 out of 100. Unfortunately personal things happened last week which meant I didn't do many comps so only entered 3,000 hopefully I can fully focus on comping this month and achieve my targets.

Oh, that would be nice, but he'll bump it several times himself. Better to just hit the 'ignore' button. It's just a pity it doesn't hide threads started by people, just posts.

@captainjack2 I have merged your recent threads together as they are all about the same topic. Please try not to make new threads every time, just leave a comment on this existing thread if you want to share your wishlists etc. You can always edit the title if you like. Thanks! 😊
