Waitrose online shop
I noticed on my receipt I hadn’t been given any credit for a 3 for £12 deal. My order email showed them all as being included and charged at the reduced price but the receipt email on the day of delivery showed full price. Honest mistake I thought, probably compounded by them substituting one of the items. So I just applied for a refund. But when my order arrived it was clear that the usual sticker saying 3 for £12 had been torn off one of the items!
I’ve had the refund, from the central complaints department, and thanks for helping them stop “sharp practices like this”
Just reminding people how essential it is to check receipts carefully. To be honest I could have done a shop in the time it took me to sort this out

perhaps the offer had expired on delivery day.

Was the substituted item you received in the 3 for £12 range?
If not then charging the full amount for each of the 2 items in 3 for £12 would be correct, as you did not get 3 🤷♀️
