MSE Forum Poll: Do you use cashback sites/apps when shopping online?

I voted sometimes.
I have used Swagbucks and Nectar for "cash back" in the form of points per £ but you must shop starting in their own app. This caused problems for me due to me having special offers tailored to me in the retailers own app eg Pets At Home, which couldn't be applied when getting cash back. I worked it out and I saved less money in real terms by claiming cash back than I would have saved using my in app offers!
There has also been the issue of the purchase not tracking despite following the guided process accurately. I have used Nectar twice - once was successful, and Swagbucks about six times - 4 were a success.
To be honest I find it more trouble and worry (will it work this time?) than its worth. Unlikely to use it again.

Used to use the 2 top ones all the time but gave up after too many failed to track and claims failed with the usual excuses even after using a clean browser.

I use it when I can. There's been times when it hasn't been paid but I've still done quite well out of it.
