    Impossible to answer as all 4 options could apply in different scenarios and the options don't really make a lot of sense.

    a SIPP is a type of product and comes in different forms. A ready made portfolio is a portfolio of investments. An annuity is a type of product.

    You can hold a ready made portfolio in a SIPP. You can hold an annuity in a SIPP. You can have a combination of them in a SIPP.

    I was not recommending the use of a financial advisor, but it is clearly an option, even if not Independent 😲

    I'm using a combination of self managed drawdown from DC funds and various annuity type products.

    And so we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.
