Delivery shops - a how to
I want to do my delivery shops for the month and then adjust them. However I don't get paid until Friday. Am I right in thinking that most supermarkets require you to have the funds to check out when you place the order? This is very inconvenient. Do you know why they do this?
Thanks 😊

You can place the order without funds at Waitrose but obviously they are expensive.

both Asda and Tesco don’t charge me till the day of delivery. But they do put a ‘hold’ on the amount of the shop on my card once the order is made.

Asda take 1 pound from me which sits in pending then vanishes when they take the actual payment on the day.
