PayPal woes
Hello, I have been on a DMP for a while & am nearly all paid off (yay!) but I had defaulted on paying my PayPal pay in 3.
This debt did not (as far as I’m aware) get added to my DMP and still shows up on my credit file. I also had a separate PayPal credit debt which was added (and is now paid) to the DMP.
When I ring PayPal I go in loops and they say they can’t see the pay in 3 debts. I rang and have messaged the debt agencies they use who have confirmed that I have no outstanding debts with them.
I also was told by Morecroft that PayPal owes me around £70 as I overpaid one debt.
PayPal need to request for this money to be issued - but it’s impossible to explain this to them.
I’m at a loss! Any help would be appreciated.

Paypal are notoriously difficult when it comes to missed payments.
If it was me I would try and make a F&F settlement with them directly on this and forget about the £70 for now. Getting Paypal to acknowledge what Moorcroft may have told you sounds like a very long and arduous task thats not worth the energy, for now.
