Really confused about tax code update

Hi everyone
Please forgive my ignorance here but I am confused?
Went BR in Feb 26.
Just received an HM letter stating following:-
- I Need to complete a self assessment for April 25 to April 26
- My employer took tax from my pay and pension and letter states they shouldn't have. They are refunding the amount taken to my Trustee.
- Does that mean my employer shouldn't be taking tax off me until feb 27?
- If not how do I pay my tax please?

When made bankrupt you should not pay tax from the date of bankruptcy till the end of that tax year so in your case Feb 26 to 5 April 2026. From 6 April 2026 it reverts to 'normal'

Oh fab. So as from now my tax is just paid normally.. that sounds like a relief
