MD Annoying investment ad

just moaning about the compulsory investment selection box. Usually they have a click box for stuff like that on the first competition and then none on the rest for each mag. It's now there for every competition like my answer is going to change. It's just annoying.

I totally agree with you, although I have noticed that literally one or two don't have the offer. I have experienced similar incidents in the past where the offer has become stuck (a gambling one in my case), but they haven't lasted as long as this one. I contacted a random magazine to voice my concern that if I had a gambling problem, I wouldn't want to keep being tempted with that same offer and that seemed to get it fixed. This time I have contacted Celebs Now to report the "issue".

It's so annoying isn't it! Have you noticed that all the MDs are ending one day early lately too? I don't understand why 😅

These ads are super dodgy and are purely there to target people who maybe aren't good with money, or are gullible, or are in some way vulnerable (e.g. addiction issues, mental health issues, people going through a difficult time for whatever reason) and easy to target, or even just plain stupid.

There was one a few days ago seeking £2,000 to "invest" in a movie. I'd get more of a return flushing it down the toilet!

I do wish these mags would not allow these ads. It's an inconvenience having to keep scrolling down to click "no" each time.

I think that might have something to do with when the clocks changed. Previously when the clocks changed you would get an extra hour to enter them but something seems to have happened this time making them end early.

These ads are a right pain but hopefully they will disappear tomorrow.

I also reported this yesterday through their "contact us" system and have received a reply that they have passed the complaint to the relevant person to deal with.

Yes, this new ad is very annoying and adds time to entering the daily mags! I have also noticed that the comps are now ending a day early!

I have messaged every magazine this morning after still getting the same investment ad with every competition. I doubt they will reply but they may fix it

I have emailed them all too - hopefully if they receive many complaints, they will take the ad down!
