MSE News: 22,000 weekend students told to repay maintenance loans after courses wrongly classified
Around 22,000 weekend students in England will lose access to vital financial support to help with living costs after their universities incorrectly classified their courses. The Government has blamed providers for exploiting the rules, but students are bearing the brunt of the mix-up. They're now being told to repay their loans and are facing the decision to continue without further help, switch courses or stop studying entirely…
