I believe a stakeholder personal pension would have to accept it, but it might need to be transferred on afterwards for flexibility in withdrawal?

Stakeholders offer flexible drawdown (at least modern ones do), but there are plenty of providers who will accept a transfer from a DB scheme where advice isn't mandatory. A few have a blanket ban on any transfer from a DB scheme, which is why OP needs to check.

Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!
