Husband debts

my husband runs small Ltd company, self employed, he signed finances with director warranties which I was not aware off as he assured me if things goes ever wrong he is not personally responsible. Now his two assets went to action as he was not able to keep up with payments. He has credit cards but none of it is joint. However my big worry is that the debt collectors may take our house, we bought it last year, joined ownership . I tried to take the mortgage on my name as I have been paying the mortgage solemnly plus all utilities bills but it did not work.
Any ideas who could advise on it or if you ever came across situation like mine, i worry i might be homeless. My husband still running the business but on business overdraft and credit cards and I feel it’s only matter of time he will go bankrupt

    Welcome to the forum.

Are you able to prepare a joint budget of your and your husband's income and expenses / liabilities whether personal or company with personal guarantees?

The DfW (debt free wannabe) area of the forum has links to SoA templates (Statement of Affairs). The lemonfool template seems popular.

Having a clear statement of the current position will be the first step in managing the situation.

If the business is not financially viable, employment may need to be considered.
