Gold stocks interesting obs
Interestingly, I had a very small pension, just under £2000 within. I was only with the company for one year.
I ignored it, didn't think anything of it. I logged in six months later and it had doubled to £4100.
Looked closer, it had large amount of gold mining stocks which went up.
It went back down to around £3500.
Now sits at £3900. I decided to to sell into a safer pension.
Think I did the right thing.

Not sure what you mean by 'sell into a safer pension' - transfer from one pension provider to another ?
But you may well have had the option to simply chose a different (less volatile?) investment profile within your existing pension scheme.

Hi p00hsticks, I no longer use that platform.
I just transferred to TPP.
