Yes. There's now a formal requirement to send a letter in a specified form, and give you 30 days to reply, before they can start a court claim. Generally these things are not misused so if you get one, a court claim is likely though not guaranteed. If you deduct those issued for private parking fines then they are not terribly common, particularly if regular payments are being made

A letter before action, and they are not the common way of dealing with debts would be way way down the line, by the time you get to early summer some debts won't even have defaulted and no creditors can do anything until they have defaulted so don't worry about possible court action until way later.
Nothing moves fast in debt collection.

No one knows what is going to happen to petrol prices or jet fuel prices. If things get difficult and remain difficult through the summer and autumn, you may have a bumper year for caravan bookings, I suggest you take advantage of this in the autumn if you can, trying to let it out as much as possible and reducing your own use. If things get very bad and we end up with petrol rationing and a full blown recession, you may have a very bad year for bookings.
