Aviva Pension
I am 66 and decided to take out my Aviva stake holder pension, with my tax-free lump sum and buy an enhanced annuity with to rest, all through Aviva, who my pension contributions were paid to.
They told me my fund value would be locked in when they received my forms back, which they confirmed were correctly received on 22.02.26.
To cut a long story short they didn’t lock in the fund value till 16.03.26. The fund had dropped substantially due to the war.
The reason they gave for their delay was they had a technical issue moving the funds across internally which had to be resolved by their technical team which took time. I have logged a Formal complaint with Aviva, will they agree with this?

They will check their recordings. Normally, the value is not locked in but a delay caused by them would normally see them use a unit price excluding the unnecessary delay.
You will have to wait and see.
