Council band query for individual property

I am certain our bungalow is in the wrong Council tax band we have lived here a few years but I cannot find any comparable 3 bed bungalows in the area 15 mile radiuss & dont know how to challenge this.We are in Band E the same as 2 large 5 bed properties either side of us the properties were all unique self builds in 2002 & I think it should be band D for us according to search engines but I cannot find anything similar to our bungalow to send for a re banding has anybody any ideas?

Odd you cannot find a comparable 3 bed bungalow within a 15 mile radius. Unless you can find other 3 bed detached bungalows in Band D, the VOA will simply give a generic response along the lines of "computer says no". What bungalows can you find?

Only much smaller bungalows ours is an individually built detached 3 bed there are very few 3 bed detached bungalows in our area mostly 2 bed semi's we live very rurally.

An individually built 3 bed detached bungalow in Band E, doesn't sound that excessive. Presuming that you aren't the first owner, when did you buy and how much was it please.
