I just googled my name and it looks like I've won with the Sun. In October 2007 but I never received the prize. What can I do? I mean I know it's months ago but I was never informed. Should I send them an email saying that I won the prize but never knew and only now, I found out but never received. Any suggestions on how to go about this?

I won with the Sun Newspaper in October, had an email the next day saying I was the winner, and still havn't received my prize either. Have emailed a few times and been told we will send it out asap......

So defo keep emailing them n good luck n well done!

In order for us to help you could you please tell me which competition you entered, where it was advertised and which date you entered it?

They are expecting me to remember what competition I entered and what date I entered it on. The winners list was posted in October so that means that I entered it in August or September. Yea, I'm really going to remember that when I enter about 50 competitions a day. I really feel like sending a sarcastic reply back saying do you know what you had for dinner 4 months ago on 17th? GRRRR

would email them back and say the competition closed October and you can't remember when you entered it but you enter all the Suns competitions but it is labelled "Shine" on the winners list.

I already asked them if it was the Joni Mitchell Shine CD competition but they seemed to be really stupid like they didn't even read my email.
