Thermomix TM7 - proper kitchen gadget - will make soup.

About £1300 from the official UK channel although I see AliExpress have them for £330…..

Personally I am not sure that the ROI makes sense but we all have different priorities.

Was never going to get past the Cost/Benefit analysis in reality.

Was offered a second-hand, ex-demo model (couple of generations of model older, certainly not 'smart') a fair few years ago at a very attractive price. Still couldn't justify the spend or the counter space (they are quite chunky).

They do an awful lot more than make soup but they are really designed for pro kitchens, often they are purchased with a second jug part which is half the cost. Easier to justify that cost when it's in use for most of the day.
