X suspended account but cannot deactivate

My Hubby has been suspended from X supposidely for flouting the rules, they stated someone reported him. H e only ever entered a couple of comps a day if that.

He appealed and basically told NO. He tried to deactivate his account but is unable to do it himself so he put in a request for X to do it as he is worried incase personal details are out there out of his control,

He had a reply by email stating that his account has been activated again but when he goes in it still says Suspended. He has put in another deactivation request but has been days now.

Does anyone know where to go from here, there is nowhere to email.

Register a new email address.

Create a new X account.

he has actually done that , but is concerned you are not allowed to deactivate your old account

how does that solve the problem of the original account still being active with personal details available

How much personal data will X be holding? A phone number or an email address?

My X account (when it was still Twitter) had an email that was used nowhere else and a made-up DoB.

Please say that OH didn't use his actual name?

No he didnt use his full name thankfully, just cannot understand why X will not allow the account to be deleted

Don't sweat it, don't think any of my (3?) accounts were ever formally deleted, must be millions of similar.

Just forget it.
