    I did not know this. It's stressful enough trying to keep tabs on everything that comes through the door.

    I might as well declare bankruptcy at this rate as I be doing this for a VERY long time.

    When did you stop paying? How much do you owe?

    Edit: you've got a mortgage, so bankruptcy isn't a good idea.

    I stopped paying in around a year ago now.

    The debts are all in the hands of Lowell and the like and have been for the last 6 months.

    Yeah, bankruptcy probably isn't the correct solution really.

    I would not worry too much about the limitation period, as that is a long way off yet.

    In your situation as it is, I would be trying to get Lowell and the like, to either, write off the debts as you will never be able to make any headway paying them off, or at the very least cease all collection activity on your accounts and not continue to chase them any more.

    It`s probably better for you to engage with them to achieve this, if you can get them to accept the reality of your situation anything is possible.
