Salary Sacrifice
Has anybody successfully refrained from paying the extra over mileage charges to their employer on Salary sacrifice scheme?

Which charges do you mean?
Are you saying that you have a SS car with a set number of miles in the lease term but you will exceed that number of miles so the lease company charge an excess mileage fee? Your employer then passes that charge to the individual?

I’ve recently had to return my car before the lease term end due to redundancy. The mileage has been pro rated for the time I have had the vehicle and the overage mileage is charged at 16.7 pence per mile. This is as per the contract however was just wondering if anybody had managed to refrain from paying it in anyway.

As this is a redundancy situation you might be able to negotiate the charges away as part of the Settlement Agreement. What does your Solicitor say?
