Typo 4 down should be ABSORB.

But I don't think it matters, but might raise suspicion of why so many entries made the same typo.

Isn't it just the word that is submitted not the whole entire crossword

I bought brain trainer issue 9 today but am struggle with the puzzle I may need your help:D

need a 3 letter word to fit inbetween these letters to make a seven letter word.
AR---LE - ARTICLE
COR---T - CORONET
RAM---T - RAMPANT
MOT---S - MOTTOES
BIS---S - BISHOPS
C---PET - CRUMPETS
P---ARY - PRIMARY
I think this is right but not sure about the MOTTOES one the shaded letter (in red) are supposed to spell out a word to do with maps. CONTOUR?
