Personal Loan v Credit Card Cash Transfer
Had a few personal loans over the years no problem.
Want to borrow around £4000 and the quotes I've got are between 12% and 24 % apr
I checked on my Halifax master card and for a cash transfer to a current account there is no fee and an apr of 5.9% over 30 months
I would be paying it off in a maximum of 12 months
Is this a good deal or what Ill be honest I don't know
any advice ?

The money transfer is vastly superior to the loan options.

The Halifax deal is a great rate on it's own.
But…... if you were able to then successfully apply for a 12 month+ interest free balance transfer credit card with a 0% balance transfer fee (there are a few still out there), you could then move the Halifax balance over to this and pay 0% interest, saving you up to a further £236 over the 12 months. 🙂
• The rich buy assets.
• The poor only have expenses.
• The middle class buy liabilities they think are assets.1 -
