Got paid always a bonus. Then had money returned from my terrible use of Sprive and money has gone across to the mortgage from this app too. I always waste money on the lottery so instead of the £10.00 I would have put on I made an overpayment to the mortgage. Yesterday was a NSD. I was at work and went for a walk at lunch instead. I also made myself a sandwich cheese and pickle instead of spending on a meal deal at T’s. There are some awful roadworks meaning my estate is trapped no way of avoiding them so I decided to walk to work yesterday also and save on fuel. I could not be doing waiting in a traffic jam for 30 mins when I can walk in that time. Now the weather is nicer will be doing that much more regularly. Had to buy school shirts for youngest teen. Will get rid of her old ones and got her six. £30.00 but used cash back site and discovered I had about £3.50 so have just transferred across and when landed will make another overpayment on mortgage. Anyway off to work well my front room WFH day and looks to be another glorious day too. Think I will get a wash out on the line first time in months! Hope this is good weather from now on fingers crossed.

Good morning,
Another WFH day so in theory should be a no spend day but have sent money across to my sister to get me a vape. Don’t have this all the time although I need and want to stop this from being a regular habit. Willpower it is the only way.
Plans for this weekend are to put another couple of things on Vinted. My sewing machine I sold on there was collected yesterday so happy days. I have not used it in years so really was just wasting space and adding to clutter.
DH woke me at about 2.30 a.m as has bad reflux , I think a lot of older men suffer with this. I usually wake up at odd hours anyway so used the time to get some comps done. Also had a flurry in a new Lake District house comp you never know. Only ever do one’s that I like the look of and are in the north. For no other reason than would be a hassle to get to if I won something at the far end of the country.
Hope the sun shines again today actually got some clothes dry out there yesterday too.

Good to have a few WFH days particularly as you were up in the small hours! Bonus of making your own lunch (I love a cheese n pickle sarnie) and saving money there too.

Thanks Coxy11 hoping to do some more make my own lunches next week too.
week have transferred £30.00 to mortgage and £9.87 to savings from sales . Bonus added some trainer boots in yesterday and they have sold so posted yesterday as had to weekly shop. There were a few boarder flowers being sold outside M’s so we got a few and DH did the garden. A bit of a spendy day as we decided to go to our local and enjoy a few pints in the sunshine. Not such a nice day today. My banking app frustrated me yesterday when trying to sort transfer to mortgage as the app had updated. I have to get my ID and verify me BUT it is important to stop scammers etc so I really shouldn’t moan.
Our local petrol place has ran out of fuel so more of an incentive to walk to work tomorrow.
chilling out today but have to squeeze in some Maths. Studying functional skills at college but will be pleased for the Easter break still studying though determined to try and pass. Passed my level 1 end of January so onwards with level 2.0 -
Lovely morning blue sky's but a bit of a frost. Looking forward to my walk to work this morning saving on those petrol cost’s. Going to take my own lunch in again today but will be popping to Tesco to get some face wash for the girl’s. Will try out that Sprive app now I know how to use it but I do get stressed at the self serve so will take my time. Eldest DD did a big clear out of clothes so will gradually put the best one’s on V-n-ed. Trying to think of alternative careers that would suit DD maybe training as a dental nurse when her course at college finishes as an apprentice. Rather than uni. I think this would suit her better, anyway throwing idea’s her way. Utube helps as loads of snippets about careers on there.

Happy Easter! Have been able to have a lie in this morning and DH has brought me up coffee and toast lovely. Sandi my dog has joined me so not getting up just yet. Anyway my updates are that I have sold a couple of things on v-nted so transferring this probably in savings account. I got some money back from deposits for school trip so undecided what to do with those may put one to the savings and one to mortgage. I need to check when the other school trip money is due though as might be wise to put towards that. My mum paid the remaining balance for our holiday so I will sort that later today. We are going on a family holiday 13 of us for my 50th in July. Just need to chase my brother and sister’s pennies now. Sunny day here today have been waiting for storm Dave to arrive but I think we missed that one. I am trying to sell an item on e-b-y which I am not having success with on the other V oh well if it doesn’t sell I shall keep. Have been sorting and clearing clutter and junk not that’s not sellable I’m afraid but it is so good to have a clear out. That programme Sort it has inspired me. I gave loads of crafty bits to my niece the other day, lots of journaling stuff that was just sitting there and pleased to report she has been creating with it already. I go through fads of hobbies and then find I never have time as jumping onto the next thing. I have also been doing lots of comps, have been on and off for years but am back at them again. Well off to the outlaws today for cake etc happy sunday
