Mortimer Clark / Ratesetter
I was wondering if anyone else has had the above lovely combination? I found this one interesting as Ratesetter got bought by Metro during all this and I often wonder how likely it is to get paperwork. Cabot have been quite quick to go for CCJ route, makes me think actually there is no paperwork for them and are trying it on. Or the opposite lol.
Either way, I did not want the hassle at the moment with court paper filings so just doing my tactic of £1 payments as from my experience once they give the debt to their legal arm they will almost certainly file for ccj papers.

Nobody can say really, sometimes the cca can't be produced for recent debts and other times they are able to dig it out when you'd think it would have been long most. The only way to find out is to ask them for it.

interesting tactic, considering they pushed legal fast i reckon it is a bluff call. I will find out years down the line when i suspect all paperwork will be missing.
