Should I redo my EPC?
So
The plan is to get a heat pump before 2030 as I'm not sure what happens with the next government so I don't have this atm, and atm it can actually reduce your EPC score potentially
My mortgage is due to renew next year. I've noticed some providers have "green" mortgages available to those with an A or B rated house. Unofficially my house is at least a B rated house. Officially, not so much
Is it then worth getting a new EPC prior to mortgage renewal? I'd be looking to get a heat pump after that anyway as I want it to be done before we change government

Possibly, if you want a free EPC have a look at Skipton Building Society who offer free EPC's to savers/borrowers.

You would need the EPC to get the BUS grant for the heat-pump so may as well get one anyway regardless of the mortgage plans.

It's valid and in date until 2032 anyway, so that's not an issue RE: BUS

Pay peanuts, get monkeys.
Just as with any profession, don’t use price as your only criteria.
