Morning, first question…. Red or Blue, then I'll decide on the advice………only joking (I'm a bluenose by the way)

I was in a similar situation with money, single guy, divorced, debt and no money despite having a decent enough job. You're in a great position with the house by the way, just use past experiences as a stupid tax, dont do it again.

I learned to get out of debt and budget by listening to the Dave Ramsey podcasts in the car, I learned to budget, manage and pay the debt and now have lots of savings, wished I had found him, and this site earlier.

Google the seven baby steps and use that plan, it changed my life.

Morning Andy, haha, I'm a red, sorry mate, but in fairness its not a good time to be a red.

Some really sound advice, thank you very much. I am gutted about the house, but it is good to hear someone else say I am in a good position with it, its reassuring.

    Cheers,
