My mum receives full state pension as well as an occupational pension and is about to start receiving spouses pension from my dads occupational scheme after his death in January 2026 aged 81. My mum is 78 will she receive an uplift in her state pension due to my dads death

Probably. Do you have last year's pension increase letter for him ? She should be entitled to a part of any additional pension he was receiving.

If this was a contracted out DB scheme and he was a member before April 6 1997, this thread may be relevant.
