We've renewed our fix with the same bank 4X now and it really is just a few clicks - I check to see if the rate available for the period we want from our current lender is competitive (so far it has been) and then proceed.
Even if the current lender isn't offering the absolute cheapest rate, the lack of faff/stress of not needing to start from scratch, provide bank statements etc. makes sticking worthwhile for us.
