You're an eon customer like myself I've just had the switch confirmed, hold tight check your emails or log in to your eon account.

Thanks, will keep checking but it normally happens straight away. I was one of the first who applied I suspect, because I saw it on MSM and it was pulled and it went on MSE after midnight and I 'switched' straight away as there was £20 cash back.
Will start investigating a complaint about Mr Lewis to the Energy Ombudsman, ( won't win against the big cheese).
No emails or anything as yet.

As an eon customer whose finally successfully switched to this tariff it shows the exclusive on CEC wasn't bogus for existing customers and obviously no problem at all for new switchers so Martin Lewis isn't at all at fault here.

It's difficult because the energy club does say they will respond within 5 days so they have actually done nothing wrong, just the nature of the situation is that it's very urgent and 5 days is just too long… unless it does get accepted.
The fact that they have updated it from V7 to V8 means they must admit it actually exists, and even the V8 is still better than their 1yr fix.

Mr Lewis isn't subject to the Energy Ombudsman, so any complaint will be rejected out of hand.

But they do deal with problems switching and the way an energy product or service has been sold.
